These are route ideas, not live timetables or connection guarantees. Check every leg for your exact travel date before paying.
Why choose it: A natural first comparison for a stay in Kiruna or Jukkasjärvi, with airport coach, taxi and rental-car options.
The trade-off: Abisko and Björkliden still need an onward journey. A flight arrival alone does not confirm a same-evening transfer or tour.
Kiruna airport & transport ↗Why choose it: Harstad/Narvik Airport at Evenes is another gateway when you want to approach Björkliden and Abisko from Norway.
The trade-off: The airport is not in Narvik town. Plan an airport transfer, then the onward rail, road or prebooked transfer connection into Sweden. You may need an overnight stop.

The trade-off: Include the airport-to-station transfer, possible train changes and a substantial rail journey. Compare the total cost and time; cheaper airfare may not mean a cheaper trip.

Make a plan that can bend
Flights and trains can be delayed or cancelled. Avoid making a tight arrival-day connection the only chance to join a tour. With several nights, a delayed journey need not define the whole trip.
Work backwards from your accommodation. Can you reach it after that flight or train? What happens if you miss the last bus? Arrange a written, bookable fallback before departure.
Keep booking references and supplier support links together. Check each provider’s change and cancellation terms. Do not assume separate tickets or bookings will be rebooked together.
